Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data elmbrookpress.com collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep it as short and clear as we can.
Who is responsible for your data
Elmbrook Press is an independent publishing project based in Italy. Elmbrook Press is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, write to contact@elmbrookpress.com.
What we collect and why
Free sample pack sign-up. If you sign up for our free puzzles, we collect your email address so we can send you the PDF and occasional updates about our books. We do this only with your consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we keep your address until you unsubscribe. Sign-ups are managed by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which stores the data on our behalf.
Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and we keep them only as long as needed for that.
Website statistics. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site: for example, which pages are read most. If you do not accept, Google Analytics is not loaded. Google may process this data outside the European Union, including in the United States, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Hosting. Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time.
Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
- Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to Amazon, where our books are sold, and to Pinterest and Instagram. When you follow those links, the privacy policies of those websites apply.
Elmbrook Press is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases: when you buy through our links to Amazon.com, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon only sends us aggregated reports; we never receive your name or contact details.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for example by unsubscribing from our emails or by changing your cookie settings. To make a request, email contact@elmbrookpress.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
